Chapter 101.
Gabe turned his head halfway towards the door and closed his eyes while he listened. I didn't hear anything outside of this room, no footsteps or voices, and neither did Trixy or she would've warned me but then again, we weren't Lycan’s.
He opened his eyes, his head flew up and he rolled back his shoulders and took a strong stance.
“They’re on their way, we need to leave,”
Damn, seems like every Lycan ability is superior to ours.
I shook my head, raised my chin, and looked at Darian who hadn't taken his eyes off me since he walked in here and helped me off the floor.
“No not yet, I need answers,” I demanded softly. The strength in my voice had taken the backseat and though I tried to call on it, my voice remained meek and tired.
“I’ll give them to you, I promise but right now we need to go,” Darian said.
I took a step back and lifted my head. There was no chance that I was leaving with them, they either told me what I wanted to know or I’d leave on my own. Even if he told me the truth,
