Chapter 269 Blacklist
Natalie ignored Belinda's shouts. She kneeled down, pulled out a tissue from her bag, and gently wiped away Estella's tears.
Her movements were soft, her palm was warm, and her voice was unusually calm and soothing. "Don't worry, Star. The truth has been made clear. Nobody's going to blame you."
Estella sniffled and hugged Natalie tightly around the neck, pressing her little head against her shoulder. She choked out the words, "Mommy, you're the best! I knew you'd believe me."
"Of course," Natalie said, patting her back. As she stood up, her eyes instantly hardened into ice. She locked on Belinda and the store attendant with a commanding stare.
"Apologize to my child now."
"Apologize?" Belinda laughed like she'd heard the joke of the century, sneering as she sized up Natalie and Estella. "Be grateful I didn't make her apologize to me. And you think I'm going to apologize to some brat? Keep dreaming."
She kept up her arrogance, acting like the woman in the footage wasn't even her.
