Chapter 14: Understanding

Night’s P.O.V I paced around the floor with my hands in my pocket, anxiety making me sweat even though the weather today was nice enough. Why was I being anxious? Why was I waiting around for Kai to show up like a lost dog waiting for its owner? I didn’t understand any of this myself either.
