Chapter 48: Reversal

Kai’s P.O.V The morning sunlight filtered in through the curtains, making me squirm in my sleep as I adjusted my aching arms to better fit the person who was sleeping next to me. Even though I wasn’t fully awake yet, I knew exactly who was beside me. There was no way that I would mistake his scent…the warmth of his skin. I kept my eyes closed, savoring the last few minutes of sleep before I would finally have to wake up and face the day.
