LIAM’S POV The moment the vision snapped, I collapsed like my chest had been split open. My lungs dragged in burning breaths, but nothing filled me. It was as if Natalie had been torn out of me all over again. I was relieved and sad at the same time. I felt relief because she still loved me and I felt sad because she was still trapped there with Memphis. My wolf roared inside. I could feel his claws scraping inside me. He was demanding I break free and run to her. My body shook violently because of the bond screaming. I clenched my fists until my nails pierced skin, until blood ran down my palm, but it wasn’t enough to stop the agony. I dropped to my knees. My chest was on fire. My head was spinning. “Alpha!” Chloe’s voice broke through. Her voice was filled with panic.. She knelt at my side, pressing her hands against my shoulders to steady me. Zane and Nate were there too.
