Charisse didn't show even a hint of fear or panic like Elliot might've expected—she looked as calm and composed as ever. Out of nowhere, Elliot suddenly recalled that one time back in school during a Halloween event. A teacher had put on a horribly ugly pumpkin mask—under the dim lights, it looked both ridiculous and creepy. She'd freaked out and screamed like crazy, then straight-up launched herself at him. The guy held her back, but she still managed to scratch up his arm pretty badly. Later, she was furious, said he shouldn't have stopped her from hitting the teacher, and gave him the cold shoulder for two whole days. He had to apologize multiple times before Miss Charisse finally forgave him—begrudgingly. But now? Come on. Forget ghosts and pumpkins. She could probably stare down a murderer or a car crash and still stay cool as ice. She even chuckled and asked, "So, Elliot, what kind of punishment are you hoping I get?"
