Chapter 7

The video clearly showed how Jessica had me review her prescription from start to finish. Having been burned before, I wasn't about to let Jessica pin anything on me again. So, when she gave me the prescription, I secretly started recording on my phone. In the video, I never touched the prescription, nor did I speak a word. So, Jessica was basically talking to herself the entire time. Now that I thought about it, it was a good thing I recorded everything. Otherwise, I'd have been unable to defend myself. By the time the recording ended, Wilson and Jessica's faces had gone a deep, sickly green. After a moment of shock, the patient's family members immediately directed their anger toward Jessica, glaring at her viciously. "So, you were the bitch who wrote that prescription! You murderer! Because of you, my son is still writhing in pain in his hospital bed!" White-lipped and sweating, Jessica still refused to admit it, her guilt evident on her face. "It wasn't me! It was Claire! Tha
