Calvin's POV The world was on fire. Flames surged all around me, painting the night sky in violent shades of orange and red. I heard Alexis’s laughter，soft and sweet just before it turned into a scream. I turned too late. The car was already crumpling inward, metal shrieking as the heat grew unbearable.
