Evelyn's POV I walked out of the treatment room, feeling calmer as I watched my sons through the window. The stabilizer was working, both Rowan and Rhys were getting better. Their skin looked healthier, and their breathing was normal, not like the scary gasps at Ravenshade Memorial Hospital. But they weren't safe yet. "How bad is it?" I asked as Gary came with the first blood test results. He gave me the paper, looking worried. "It's worse than we thought. Besides the LDS virus, there's a strange substance in their blood that I've never seen before." I looked at the molecular structure on the screen, quickly recognizing parts similar to things I'd studied before. "It's a Wolf Instinct Suppression drug," I said, feeling cold. "A stronger version than any that exists now." Gary nodded. "Our initial assessment suggests it would cause complete wolf separation if left untreated.Eventually leading to mental fragmentation, language disorders, and... permanent disassociation from their wolf."
