Chapter 39

The smell of blood was thick and suffocating, making me breath heavily. I was no longer bleeding due to the fact I made a bandage out of my clothes, but my wound still stung a hurt like crazy. I know for a fact that Wade felt some of my pain. He's been trying to break through my mind so he can talk to me, but this room I'm trapped in must be built with silver lining. I'm in a different room from where I was originally in, it's a lot colder but there's an old lumpy mattress in the corner. It provides no warm but it's comfier than the metal chair I was tied to, this room was a small window up high on the wall. If I reach up on my tip toes I can look out into the golden white streets, little sun comes through this window, but the light is comforting. Now before you ask, 'Why can't you climb out the window?" the window has metal bars across it and even if it didn't, the windows way too small for me to fit my body through.
