Chapter 36: Sparkling Fingers

~ Willow ~ I don’t know how long I was on that cliff. It seemed like hours but maybe it was only minutes. I was in a sitting position when I heard the crack of a branch behind me. I let my senses guide me. The ground shook with a soft vibration underneath me. Whatever this is… it’s big. I didn’t turn around. I could feel the atmosphere thicken around me.
