"Oh, right, you have a brother, right?" Icarus asked Ruth when he thought of Fred, whom he'd met in the northwestern region. "Fred is studying at a university in Sunderland. He only comes home during the holidays. He lives at school for the rest of the year," Ruth replied. Icarus nodded and continued eating. Ruth barely ate. She kept observing Icarus silently. Normally, Icarus always acted nonchalant. However, he took his meals seriously and would even comment on every dish. "What kind of person are you?" Ruth wondered silently as she stared at Icarus. After dinner, Icarus went upstairs to check on Jeremiah. After the last acupuncture session, Jeremiah's health had improved. He was coughing less, and he no longer felt phantom pains in his body.
