~ Violet ~ “Twenty nine weeks is a big deal. You’re well into your third trimester, Violet. How are you feeling?” Dr. Lee asked through the screen on the computer. As always, Violet and Damon were doing their usual check-up with Dr. Lee. Even though they were miles away, technology had bridged the gap. They were still able to do the weekly check-up through Zoom. It worked out rather perfectly. “I feel great, Dr. Lee. Everything’s fine. I don’t feel nauseous anymore or anything,” Violet said reassuringly. “Baby Zach seems to be enjoying himself too. I feel him kicking around a lot more,” “Well, that’s great. But please, don’t overwork yourself, okay?” Dr. Lee said in that worried tone of hers. “Yes, doctor,” “Well, alright,” Dr. Lee said and she turned her eyes to the left side of the screen where Damon was. “And Damon, make sure you bring her back before the 30 weeks mark, okay? I mean, surely Violet and the baby are okay, but I just don’t want to risk it,” “You got it, Doc,” Damon nod
