Chapter 10

Bryn's POV I felt like a deer stuck in the head lights, I was shocked and utterly speechless. It was so odd seeing them after so many years, it was like reading a book that you've read before. It's familiar but always seems to surprise you. The boys looked so much more mature, and handsome. Chase's hair had gone darker over the years, but I couldn't tell if he dyed it or not. They all had gotten noticeably taller but Charlie sprouted over everyone else. Lucas was growing a small beard which made me look a lot more serious and all their scents had changed slightly. All the boys apart from Jake barred a mating mark on their necks, and what hurt the most was that Nick had a wedding ring as well on his finger. I looked away from the wedding ring and glanced up into his eyes and I could see the guilt clearly tinted in them. I was so mad I could practically feel myself shaking, I dropped Jennifer to the ground and walked right up to Nick. I stared into his nervous eyes, and I growled.
