Chapter 39

Soon, the room filled with people from all over. Wolves from packs that were spread all over the country and neighboring countries were here. We didn't last more than 5 minutes sitting down when people started coming up to us to introduce themselves. I could tell most of them were there to get on Oscar's good side. Wise choice. Most of the people who came up to us congratulated us for finally being a complete family and I was grateful for it. It helped me with the thoughts I had less than an hour ago.  Maybe they would like me as their queen. As we were in the middle of a conversation with an Alpha and Luna from a nearby pack, the two quickly bowed and excused themselves, which confused me. I realized why they did it when I looked behind me. Levi stood there with his hand on my shoulder. I hadn't even noticed he was behind me. He wore a smile that showed off his perfectly white and straight teeth. "You don't have to bow," Levi chuckle
