Chapter 128 Meet Again

Why isn’t anyone responding?” One of Ares’ men stepped back and looked at the roof. Without replying to the question, Ares knocked on the door. “We mean no harm. We came by to offer you food. If you don’t want to come out, we’ll leave the food at the door. You can come out later and collect it.” The soldiers left the food on the doorstep and went to another house with Ares. Since the resident didn’t answer the door, they put the food at the door. Once they disappeared out of sight, I opened the door and took the food inside. They gave us a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. Although the food wasn’t a lot, the variety was abundant. I couldn’t understand why Ares brought doctors when he was clearly worried about the situation here. He would’ve been better off bringing regular people. On second thought, if the doctors were reluctant t
