We had a visitor in the middle of our quick lunch. “Hello. Is Dr. Mars here?” The visitor was a sickly-looking woman. She appeared embarrassed. “He is.” I pushed Mars forward. The woman fell onto her knees at the sight of Mars. “Please save me, Dr. Mars. I’m about to get married, but I–” She recounted her story, and much like what Grimm went through, she was deceived by the same trickery. Mars helped her up, but the woman wouldn’t stop crying. “Aren’t you afraid I could be a fraud?” Mars asked. The woman shook her head. “I am, but there’s nothing more I can do. I can’t go on with the wedding like this. Please help me.” The woman kneeled, frightening Mars to help her up again.
