Chapter 34 Stay or Leave

[Aimee] It was challenging enough for me to sing the melody in my state, so my singing wasn’t as soothing to Ares as the last two times. Ares took some time to relax himself. At least, he did not try to attack anyone. All he did was stand there with his back straight as if his soul had left his body. I dared not let my guard down. I heard Mars telling Letterman, “Bring Lady Aimee a blanket.” Soon, a blanket was draped over me. While I could still feel the chills, I felt a lot better. Apart from a blanket, Letterman also brought me warm soup.
