Millicent looked at Wendy condescendingly, 'You flatter yourself!' she said. 'Your betters have not been able to defeat me and you think you can?' 'Ah, yes!' Wendy said. 'I heard of the way you dealt with Lilibeth. Sasha had it coming but you robbed me of my revenge on her and you shall pay. I am supposed to be the one punishing her for siding with you against me but you beat me to it. I shall never forgive you for that. I have added that to the list of your sins against me!' 'Why are you here?' Millicent asked. 'Just to introduce my daughter to you!' she said, smiling smugly. 'Your daughter?' Millicent asked and wondered what wizard she had had to hook up with to for whom she had such a lovely daughter. 'Yes, mine!' she said, looking at Millicent oddly as though expecting a particular reaction from her. 'Doesn't she look like me?' Millicent smiled. The girl was far more comely than Wendy could ever hope to be. Her nose was aristocratic, her facial bones, well formed and her fair hair.
