Chapter 135: Hidden in plain sight

June headed to the hospital with Lucy in search of Sheila.  According to the nurses, she was undergoing surgery and couldn't be seen until further instruction. June felt a cold sweat run down her spine. It seemed like any time she was close to a breakthrough, something terrible happened.  Not to mention that the supposed evidence she had to prove her sister's innocence and put April behind bars was still stored somewhere she didn't know. Everything was falling apart. Lucy and June spent the day in the hospital waiting for good news on the surgery.  When the theatre doors opened, June leapt to her feet and attacked the doctors with questions. "How is she? Where is she? How did it go?"  "Are you related to the patient?" The doctor asked and she nodded. "Please see me in my office."  June followed him immediately with Lucy behind her. They sat in the office and she asked once again. "How is she? Please don't keep us in suspense," "The young lady was in bad condition." The doctor started.
