Chapter 29

"Don't you ever raise your voice at me" He says pointing a finger at me and at the same time taking a big step forward. "It hasn't been an attack for the past few weeks and there will not be any" He continues. "Are you saying that I'm lying?" I answer him raising my voice out of frustration and pointing a finger at me. I look him in the eyes and send him a questioning expression. He turns his head away from me and sighs loudly. "I don't know what you're doing, but you aren't telling the truth," He says with his face away from me. His entire body posture says that he's angry and hurt. How can he be hurt?  I take a few steps backwards keeping my gaze on his face. My feet move across the soggy ground making low sloppy sounds. He doesn't turn around to look at me when I walk away from him. "Don't come to me when they attack" I say and turn around, walking back to the pack house. I can hear from behind me how he starts to run the other way
