Hattie's words caught me off guard. I kept teasing her, "I truly don't like him, Mrs. Greene. You've misunderstood."
She burst out laughing. "Amber, go look in a mirror. Every time you mention him, you can't hide the smile in your eyes. Back in my day, we called that 'liking someone.'"
