My breath was caught when I heard those words. No, it was not a question full of hesitation thrown by someone who knew nothing. Mrs. Geeny’s words sounded strong and full of conviction, as if it was absolute truth.
No one spoke. Harlow just sat frozen in his chair. My jaw dropped, and slowly, I took a breath.
“Say it again?”
“You are The Supreme Luna.” Once again, Mrs. Geeny said it without hesitation.
“How—? Why—?” I held my breath, unable to form a complete question.
