The hospital director hurried to make a call, and less than a minute later, Caitlin's gynecologist put down her current work and walked swiftly over.
Henrietta sat straight, her tone icy and authoritative as she spoke, "Tell me, what's wrong with my daughter-in-law? Can she still have kids?"
"Mrs. Perkins, she caught a chill before her period, which is causing some cramps..." the doctor answered honestly.
"Hold on. Her period? That can't be right," Henrietta's face froze for a second as she frowned. "She shouldn't be on her period yet. It should be her ovulation window now."
The doctor looked slightly awkward as she tried to explain, "According to our records, her menstruation is pretty regular, and she's definitely entered her cycle."
"Right, her period is usually very punctual—never started this early before!" Henrietta's face darkened. She waved at Mr. Carson, who quickly handed over a chart. She pointed at a series of dates for the doctor to see.
