Chapter 65 Do You Trust Me, Woman?
As Falcoa and Ulysses entered the ward, all the medical staff had left. Enzo's men had closed the curtains and left quietly.
Falcoa looked at Theresa, surrounded by various medical devices. The scent of her expensive perfume was replaced by the strong smell of antiseptic and blood.
Theresa's chest rose and fell weakly under the transparent green oxygen mask covering half of her face. Her usually radiant face was now pale and marked with a few scratches.
Falcoa almost immediately rushed to Theresa's bedside, careful not to touch any of the life-sustaining equipment.
She couldn't bear to see Theresa in such a lifeless state. Not even for a second!
Kneeling beside the bed, Falcoa cried bitterly, her tears flowing freely. Then, wiping away her tears, she turned to Enzo:
