Cherry nodded with a smile knowing that Iris had taken the bait. “Not at all,” Cherry said. “Go back and change your clothes first. Your toothbrush and cleanser will be back by the time you’re done.” A pleased look formed on Iris’s face. “Okay then,” she nodded. “Thank you, Cherry. I’ll head back first then. Please bring my things over.” Cherry heaved a sigh of relief once Iris left. She was so worried that Iris would insist on entering her room just now. Lucky for her, Iris chose to believe her and left. ‘What an inexperienced girl. It’s so easy to get rid of her.’ A feeling of hostility rose within Cherry. ‘Ugh, but why didn’t she check her belongings before she left last night? Now I’d have to look for her missing toothbrush and cleanser and deliver them back to her.’ Cherry returned to her room to look for Iris’s belongings reluctantly because she had a mission she intended to keep: to grow the doubt she had planted in Iris’s mind. Cherry searched the whole bathroom but saw n
