Chapter 26

"Fine." I squeaked out before disappearing as quick as I could. Sitting on my kitchen counter, I ate spoonfuls of half baked ice cream I'd planned to eat the other night, not even bothering to use a bowl. I'd almost finished the entire carton when Scar finally made an appearance, leaning against the opening to my kitchen. Neither one of us spoke as I eyed him over the tub of ice cream. Licking the remnants off of my spoon, I tossed it into the sink before setting the empty container next to me. Crossing my arms over my chest, I looked away from him before leaning my head to the right to rest against the fridge. He sighed deeply before pushing himself off the wall and coming to stand in front of me. Looping his arms around my back, he settled them on my ass and gave it a light squeeze. I brought my hands up to rest on his chest and started playing with a loose thread on the breast pocket of his t-shirt. "Were you awake because you got your period?" He asked, his voice quiet
