"What should we do now, miss?" the driver shot her a nervous glance, clearly treating Victoria like his only hope. "There's a police station up ahead. Just drive there," Victoria answered after a quick thought. She knew most precincts and police outposts around Abyndale thanks to her job. Since they didn't have solid proof of anything, calling the cops directly could be tricky, so this was the safest bet. "Alright, whatever you say." The driver relaxed a bit, as if he finally had a plan to cling to. He followed Victoria's directions and suddenly swerved away from their original route. Sure enough, the car behind them mimicked the turn. Victoria told him to take a few more turns, switching roads randomly. At first, the tailing car kept up. Then, it suddenly broke off and took a different route. "Huh? It's not following anymore... Maybe we overthought it?" the driver muttered, clearly confused but visibly relieved. "Guess we were just being paranoid. I seriously thought we'd get kidnappe
