Isabella froze for a second, caught off guard by Theodore's question. She kept her head down, letting her hair fall to the side and cover half her face, hiding her expression. "I'm sorry... I really don't know how Mrs. Chambers found out. It just so happened that Victoria came by at the same time, and things... escalated between them.
