Chapter 26 Mandel's Indifference
Mandel's deep eyes were locked, and his huge palm reached out to suffocate her.
His power was immense. He coughed and pinched Regina. Her heart sunk as she touched the bright light in his eyes.
Fortunately, Mandel quickly let go of his hand, and said coldly, "Go away!" and then said nothing.
She stormed out of the building, seeing Frank and Caroline eagerly awaiting her.
"How is it? Has Mr. Martin agreed? Hedy needs money to study abroad soon."
Caroline hurriedly gripped her arm, fearful of hearing terrible news from her mouth. If the Millers went bankrupt, they would depart immediately.
But Frank insisted on being with this woman.
"Not at all! He said it was unrelated to me. Did you offend him elsewhere?"
She rubbed the back of her neck, where a few smudged handprints had already been left. She still had nightmares about Mandel's scary face.
"What are you talking about? Who else is there besides you? If you don't settle this, you'll never see your mother again!"
