Chapter 32

I only nodded in response as his fingertips gently began to touch my neck. His fingers were cold as he began to touch certain areas of my throat. It was tender from the bruises but it didn't hurt enough to have me pulling away from his gently touch. I was shocked when pain laced through my throat whilst I pulled away as fast as I could with a jerk of my head. Doctor Luke had touched something towards the front of my throat and near my glands that had caused a lot of pain. Logan growled lowly at his side when he saw me wince and I could see that he was trying his hardest to ignore Logan's presence. "Hm," he mused," can you open your mouth as wide as possible please?" He asked. I did as he asked and titled my head back as he guided it with his hands. I watched whilst he used a small torch to shine light into my throat, his eyes scanned the light as he moved it around my open mouth. I didn't know what he was looking for but whatever he found caused him to grimace
