Eileen's POV I knelt there, breathing hard, my hands trembling as the last of my magic slipped from my fingers. Around me, the Alphas stirred, their groans of pain slowly easing, their breathing becoming steadier. One by one, their wounds closed, the blood staining their skin and clothes drying to dull brown patches. I sagged forward, sweat beading on my forehead, the sheer effort of healing so many at once almost too much for me to bear, but I didn’t stop until the last spark of dark magic was chased from the room.
