Chapter 42: Misconceptions

Sandra came down after eating with Raymond in the kitchen  She checked on Violet and saw that she was awake. 'I thought that you were going to sleep for awhile', she said to Violet. 'I was really tired and I felt that I could get a little sleep but that was too much, to ask for. The nightmares again', she offered and Sat up on the bed shaking her head. 'Are you sure you do not want to talk about it?' Sandra asked. 'It could make the nightmare go away'. Violet looked at Sandra and misunderstanding, Sandra raised both hands. 'It's okay. I promised to wait till you are ready to tell me but here I am troubling you. I am very sorry'. 'It's not that Sandra. I shall tell you but only when the time is right. I can't say anything right now'. Sandra nodded. 'I need to step out for a bit', she said. 'There is something I need to get from the grocery store down the road'. 'Let me come with you', Violet offered getting up on her feet. 'No!' Sandra said firmly. 'You'll do not such thing. Stay here.
