Jeremy opened the card and to his surprise saw that it was Violet's name that was written as the name of the bride. He smiled. He could see that Damien was still preoccupied with thoughts of Violet though he claimed he was marrying Viola. Jeremy felt that if Damien was really for Violet like he believed, then they would end up getting married and not Viola. Viola would get her own husband but that husband was not Damien. He wanted to tell Damien this but decided against it and merely smiled. Damien was shocked. He had expected more lectures from him but he was taking it coolly.
