When Celestia chased after him, Jareth was already across the street. She was desperate to follow, but suddenly everything started spinning. Her vision blurred, like a fog had rolled over her eyes. Before she could figure out what was happening, her body gave out-like someone had just pulled the plug-and she collapsed to the ground, completely drained. Just before losing consciousness, she could vaguely hear people around gasping. Her blurry gaze landed across the street, and she faintly saw Jareth turn his head in her direction.
