Megan had no choice but to return to Lordshire with Caspian. Before leaving, she said goodbye to Andrew. Andrew's eyes held emotions she couldn't read as he asked, "I thought you didn't love Caspian. Why are you going back with him?" Megan lowered her gaze, hiding the bitterness in her eyes, and forced a casual smile. "We're married. There's no point holding on to old grudges." The light in Andrew's eyes dimmed, and he forced a smile. "I suppose you're right. Besides, it's too dangerous for you to stay here. I wouldn't feel at ease."
