"I'm not having breakfast with you here," Helen retorted, crossing her arms. "You have two options—leave on your own, or I'll throw you out. You have 60 seconds to decide."
Just as Otto was about to protest, his phone suddenly rang. He answered the call and held the phone to his ear. After a brief pause, he said tersely, "Understood. I'll be back soon."
Once he ended the call, Otto exhaled in frustration and stared up at Helen. Despite his injuries, he felt an inexplicable urge to stay close to her,
