Tara entered the cable car and took the empty seat to her left. Distracted by the rush and her own embarrassment, she barely registered who sat beside her. The cable car door closed. Across from her, Soren smirked, his voice laced with playful mockery. "Why not hide in the other cable car?" He had clearly noticed her attempts to avoid them before boarding. Sitting opposite Tara, Shawn adjusted his glasses with a gentle smile, his expression purely kind. Surprised by his question, Tara lifted the brim of her hat and looked ahead. The other cable car was empty, and given the weather, few others were riding. The cable cars would soon stop for the day. Soren was just teasing. Seeing her actually glance toward the back, he couldn't help but laugh. "Tara, are you really that scared of us?" He seemed genuinely curious if her fear was this intense. After hearing Soren's words, Lance's gaze darkened for some reason. The cable car began its descent, and Tara gripped the railing tight
