Dane Price came alone, but he wasn't dumb enough to walk into a trap without backup. His people were just nearby.
"Didn't think you'd actually show," Jason Kim said lazily, leaning against the warehouse gate, a cigarette dangling from his lips.
He took a deep drag and pointed inside. "This place's been abandoned for years. No one's wanted to buy it—too far from downtown, not worth a dime in their eyes."
Dane frowned, not sure where Jason was going with this.
"I bought it," Jason said casually. "What do you think?"
Dane gave him a look like he was nuts. "Get to the point."
Jason smirked. "The point is, I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying in Pinebrook."
In other words, he wasn't backing off Olivia. And he'd be making moves.
Dane's expression darkened. "Touch her, and I swear I'll end you."
Jason's smile twisted. "Then we both lose. No one gets her."
He was crazy, no doubt.
