Chapter 55 William Is Hungry

Melanie was overjoyed. "Really? Great!" She bounced with excitement. "Emelie, I won't go with you, then. See you at work tomorrow." Emelie nodded while William walked away without a word. Facing the road, Emelie continued to wait for her ride. She couldn't help but wonder when she and Melanie had become best friends. And were Melanie and William already a couple? It seemed that it wasn't that difficult to be William's girlfriend after all. Daphne could be, and so could Melanie.
