I could only pray to the Goddess that it stopped now. If he went any further, my mother might reject him completely. And if she did, I would leave with her. If we ended up moving into Oliver's coven, I would make it clear, Wade would no longer be allowed inside.
I already knew how badly this would ripple. A split like this wouldn’t just fracture hearts, it would fracture alliances. Tensions would rise between the coven and Red Crescent, and between Ashton and Oliver.
