Chapter29:Guilty Feeling

Lucy       Breakfast is awkward, the atmosphere is too tense you could cut through it with a knife.    “ The meal is good isn't it?” Xavier asks breaking the silence that sat among us.    “ Yeah, it's very good,” I say my turning into a nervous smile.    Kaydens continues to eat quietly not bothering to engage in conversation with us. He looks distracted.    “ So Kayden, how did you sleep?” Xavier asks casually.    He lifts his cup and takes a sip of his hot coffee. He closes his eyes briefly as he savors the wonderful taste. He enjoys coffee, no doubt.    “ I slept fine until your voices woke me up.” He answers, his voice is edgy.    Looks like something crawled up his man pants and now he is in a bad mood.    I continue to eat, the last thing I want is to engage in conversation with him. Besides Lexi told me to stay away from him and that is what I will do STAY AWAY.    Note the sarcasm.    “ Sorry about that. My friend Lucy came to tell me about private issues.” Xavier defends.    I
