Elise thought that Wanda might have grown to dislike her because she kept turning her down. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. She glanced at the time. Her throat was dry from the walk over, so she took a sip of the coffee without holding back. Samuel arrived with Lucas just as the dishes were being served. There was no sign of Zara, not that it had anything to do with Elise. She preferred not to see her anyway. Perhaps Samuel didn't want Zara present while they discussed the divorce so that it wouldn't appear as if she were the one ruining their relationship. How considerate of him.
