As Cheryl reminisced about the past, a warm, nostalgic glow filled her eyes.
Suzanne thought for a moment before shaking her head. "I don't remember."
Back in high school, she had been fully immersed in her studies, paying little attention to what was happening around her. She had a few close friends, but beyond that, she didn't really pay much mind to her classmates.
Cheryl clicked her tongue, giving her a knowing look. "Seriously? He had the biggest crush on you. He spent all of high school trying to get your attention—writing you love letters, following you around. And you have no clue of it all?"
She sighed dramatically. "That poor guy even recorded a song for you. And he actually had a great voice."
Cheryl bit into a piece of grilled meat, shaking her head.
Suzanne frowned slightly, digging through her memory. "That… sounds somewhat familiar."
But as for what he looked like? She had no recollection of it at all.
