I stared in frozen horror as Zack crashed to the marble floor.
The impact echoed through the room, and I sucked in a sharp breath.
Tears blurred my vision, my fingers trembling.
But Alpha Sherman wasn't finished.
In the blink of an eye, he lunged at Zack again, delivering blow after brutal blow, each punch harder than the last.
Zack attempted to fight back, landing a few weak hits, but he was clearly outmatched in strength, speed, and sheer rage.
The sickening sound of fists connecting with flesh jolted me from my daze.
This wasn't some nightmare—Alpha Sherman was genuinely about to destroy his brother.
My wolf, Keal, whimpered anxiously inside me.
"We should stop this violence,"she urged. "If this gets out, it could cause serious trouble."
I stepped forward, my voice shaking. "Stop it! Alpha Sherman !"
He didn't hear me.
His knuckles were split open now, blood flowing freely, yet he continued hammering Zack's face. His breathing had become erratic, his expression wild.
