Chapter 35

I ran out of the room as fast as I could. But of course, I wasn't able to out run a wolf, an Alpha at that. So when I felt something large clash into my back, I was prepared. Doing my best to remember something I had read in a book five years ago, I put my hands out in fronts of me. As soon as I hit the ground, I rolled forwards, just enough to get away from the wolf.  Then, like a character from an action movie, I rolled onto my front and tried my best to get up. Luckily, I could. Without falling I ran to the next room, but when another growl echoed through the hallway, I froze.  I was going to turn around when another wolf appeared in front of me. I gasped as I looked at the big black wolf, but when familiar bright green eyes connected with mine, I breathed out in relief.  Lorcan.
