Chapter 904
Brad continued, "Besides, I was the one who was forced into this. I'm the victim here. Why can't I hold a grudge?"
He was deliberately twisting his words to make things difficult for Nadine. He loved seeing her struggle, knowing she couldn't do anything to him.
But she deserved it for being so heartless! She hadn't even hesitated when she treated him as a substitute.
Now that he had leverage over her, he had to make full use of it. He had to let her know that he had Janctera wrapped around his little finger.
Nadine was so furious that she was at a loss for words. Though she was dying to lash out at him, she had no choice but to suppress her fury and pleaded, "It's all my fault. I'm sorry! Please have mercy on me and spare me. Let's just pretend today never happened, okay?"
This was the best solution she could think of. They would pretend it never happened, and no one would be all the wiser. This was a private matter, and she didn't want anyone else to know about it.
But Brad had no intention of letting her off the hook. Narrowing his eyes, he eyed her naked body and grinned.
"Pretend it never happened? That's impossible! It already happened, Nad. You forced yourself on me and pinned me against the bed—I couldn't even escape. Do you have any idea how traumatized I am? Now that you've had your fill, are you trying to deny everything? How heartless of you!"
His features were chiseled and masculine, which made him seem somewhat hilarious when he deliberately acted like someone who had been wronged.
Yet, Nadine overlooked the absurdity and was solely focused on how she could stop him from spreading word about what had happened.
"Alright, I'm sorry! I'm really sorry. Don't be upset, okay? I'm willing to compensate you for the harm I've caused. How much do you think is appropriate? Also, I wouldn't have been able to force myself on you if you had been reluctant. You could've called a doctor to come over!"
That damn Brad! They were in a hospital, so he could have easily called a doctor to inject her with a sedative to calm her down. Then, none of this would have happened.
But instead of calling for help, he let the situation escalate. He clearly harbored ill intent.
If she didn't know him so well, she might actually believe that he was the one who had been forced.
Hearing that she was trying to settle things with money, Brad turned grim. "Are you trying to buy me off with money? Do you really think I'm someone who needs money?"
Nadine actually thought she could dismiss him with money. How ridiculous!
Nadine also knew it wasn't a great idea. Brad was the wealthiest man in Janctera City, and money meant nothing to him. He wouldn't care about whatever little compensation she offered.
She had made a mistake and lost her advantage. Resigned, she remained silent and let him speak.
Noting her lack of response and the look of disappointment in her eyes, Brad didn't want to overwhelm her. He cleared his throat and continued, "You said I should've called the doctor? I wanted to do so, but you clung to my clothes and refused to let me leave. You were practically ravishing me whole.
"I'm a normal man. How could I possibly resist after months of abstinence? You can't really blame me for this. I'm the victim here!"
The more he emphasized it, the more suspicious Nadine became. She wasn't a loose woman, and she had been biting her tongue to stay conscious after realizing she had been drugged.
It didn't match Brad's claims at all.
"Brad, I remember everything. It wasn't like what you said," she retorted. "Are you lying to me?"
Brad bristled. "I'm not! I have proof. Just in case you denied it, I recorded everything!"
