As a mother, there was nothing more gratifying than seeing her child happy.
Vivienne might have felt nothing but contempt for Sebastian's hypocrisy, but even she had to admit that when he wanted to charm someone, he knew exactly how to do it.
Even she couldn't make Diana this happy.
Once Vivienne returned to the bedroom and closed the door behind her, her expression turned cold.
"You should sleep somewhere else tonight. Tomorrow morning, I'll just tell Mom you left early for work," she calmly said.
Sebastian was in the middle of taking off his jacket. At her words, he raised his brows. "Hmm?"
"I appreciate you playing along tonight, but I've thought it through. It's not right for us to keep staying under the same roof," Vivienne continued coolly.
"And why's that?"
"We're getting a divorce—"
Vivienne hadn't even finished when Sebastian flatly cut her off, "Vivienne, do I need to remind you that we're still legally married?"
"Not for much longer," she quietly replied.
