Ana decided she was done feeding Lucian for now. She turned to look at him and felt a warm smile return to her face. Picking up a napkin, she gently wiped the corners of his mouth.

Lucian was licking a bit of food off his lips. "Yes, Grandma. But… could you please not be mad at Mary?"
Ana paused, surprised. For such a young child, Lucian was thoughtful beyond his years. She stood still for a moment, then smiled softly. "Alright, darling. I'll stop."
