"I'm glad you asked." Draven says, a smug little smile creeping up his lips.
Elias's eyes spit fire.
I sigh heavily, not knowing what else to do. I didn't know for sure if Draven's word was worth believing.
If Ryder had finally found out I was missing, then I didn't want to be here when he came. I had to get away.
"I say we strike first. Least expected. Ryder is expecting to find you in the Human City. But I say we go straight to him. Red Shadow Pack. And infiltrate while he's gone," Draven speaks.
"Oh really?" Elias shoots back. "It could work In theory, I suppose."
I glance between the two of them. I can see the enmity flashing in their eyes, and I know it's going to be a very long day.
Footsteps echo outside, sounding closer. "Hey, Kara, are you home? What's all the noise in there?" Mira's voice calls.
